Nick Machinski participated in digs in the American southwest, Rome and Peru. His interest in the Inca took off as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan. Despite going back to school and switching careers, Nick’s strong interest in the Inca remains.
After listening to several history podcasts over the course of a few years, it dawned on Nick that there was little to nothing available on the Inca. So in the spring of 2018, research began and in February 2019, A History of the Inca was launched.
Despite being a parent and working a full-time job, Nick carves out time to do the research, writing, recording, editing and marketing for the show. He works hard to deliver a podcast that is fair, educational and accessible to anyone interested in the Inca.
